





Omron Healthcare - Recruitment Video Campaign
The Challenge
The CEO approached me to develop concepts for recruitment videos aimed at enhancing brand awareness and attracting top talent. The project had a tight timeline with concepts to be presented within two weeks.
The Strategy
The goal was to create two distinct recruitment videos:
- Classic Recruitment Video: Connect Omron’s rich history with its innovative future to communicate credibility, stability, and opportunity.
- Viral-Focused Video: Create a video designed to stand out, capture attention, and be shareable. During the concept phase, we explored viral video trends like trick shots and playful experiments, eventually landing on a Rube Goldberg-style mouse trap sequence. This approach allowed us to showcase Omron’s products and technology in a fun, engaging way.
The Execution
I led the full creative process including:
- Developing and pitching concepts to the CEO
- Scripting and storyboarding both videos, including the intricate Rube Goldberg sequence
- Overseeing filming, animation, and post-production
- Ensuring both videos reflected Omron’s brand identity and values
The Impact
Both videos delivered engaging, high-quality content that reinforced Omron as an innovative and attractive employer. The Rube Goldberg recruitment video exceeded expectations, gaining over 100,000 views, an impressive result for a recruitment-focused video. It successfully generated excitement, attention, and brand awareness while highlighting Omron’s products and technology in a memorable way.
